Odor removal

An odor is a particle, not a feeling.

Every lingering smell comes from something physical: soot in the ducts, mold in a wall cavity, urine in the carpet pad, residue from a spill. Cover it up and it comes back as soon as the air freshener fades.

Our specialists track the odor to its source, deal with the materials holding it, then treat the air and surfaces with the method that fits that specific odor. Then we test the result before we call it done.

  • Source located
  • Saturated materials replaced
  • Air cleaned
  • Final testing

Frequently asked questions

Odor removal questions, answered.

Why does the smell keep coming back after I clean?

Because the source is still there. Odors live in porous materials like carpet pad, drywall, insulation and ductwork. Surface cleaning and air fresheners do not reach them.

Is ozone treatment safe?

Ozone is effective but unsafe to breathe at treatment levels, so it is only used in empty, sealed spaces. People, pets and plants stay out until the area is aired out. For occupied spaces, we use hydroxyl generators instead.

Can you remove odors while we still live in the house?

Often, yes. Hydroxyl generators, HEPA filtration and deep cleaning can run in occupied spaces. We plan treatments around your schedule.

How long does professional odor removal take?

Many jobs finish in one to three days. Severe odors from fire, decomposition or heavy smoking can take longer, especially if materials need to be replaced.

Do you handle odors from rodents or decomposition?

Yes. We remove the source and contaminated materials, sanitize the area and treat the remaining odor.

What does odor removal cost?

It depends on the source, the size of the area and whether materials need replacing. We give you a free inspection and a written estimate first.

Tired of a smell that will not leave? Let's find the source.

Free inspection. Source-based treatment. Tested results.
